About Our Foundation

Gerald Gallacher was a strong member of the London Community. In his professional life, Gerald contributed his Architecture talents found all over Southwestern Ontario, specializing in Health and Public sector. Gerald was a passionate man who selflessly gave back to youth and athletics. Mentoring Architect Design students and building a legacy in the soccer community.

In early 2020, Gerald was diagnosed with Stage 4 Pancreatic Cancer. Unfortunately, Gerald left our community and our hearts at the young age of 49, with much left he wanted to do.

The foundation strives to continue Gerald’s work and his legacy by giving back. Each year, we select a student from Fanshawe College School of Design for The Gerald Gallacher Foundation Scholarship. This is awarded to a student who demonstrates Gerald’s work ethic and integrity. Our foundation has much work ahead to reach Gerald’s goals of supporting Cancer treatments and supporting the research of finding a cure.

There are no words that can express the loss of our friend, partner, and mentor. Thank you to everyone for your heartfelt words of kindness and your ongoing support as we continue to build our foundation in Gerald’s honor.
